Chris Etienne

Chris Etienne is Associate Broker for Harbor Sotheby’s International Realty and Director of Leasing for the Village at Bay Harbor.  She has had a career in real estate since 2001 and has been in sales for more than 30 years, previously as Vice President of Treasury Management sales for National City Bank.  Chris is currently serving as President of the Emmet Association of Realtors. She obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland European Division in Heidelberg, Germany, and her MBA from Lake Superior State University.
 
Chris serves on the board of trustees for North Central Michigan College as Vice Chair and on the North Central Michigan College Foundation board of directors.  Chris was appointed by Michigan Governor Rick Snyder in 2011 to serve on the Michigan Women’s Commission and served as chair from 2016-2020.  Chris received the Athena Award in 2007 and the Emmet Association of Realtors Realtor of the Year award in 2014.
 
Chris joined Rotary in 1990 and is honored to be a member of the Rotary Club of Petoskey, Michigan.  She has served as club president, district governor, district membership chair, district Rotary Foundation chair, COL representative, district Peace Fellowships chair, zone training coordinator and zone institute chair.  Chris has served Rotary International as training leader, president’s representative, Rotary coordinator, Regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, and convention promotions committee member for Sao Paulo, Hamburg and Houston.  She served as the moderator for the 2023 Regional Leader Global Learning Institutes and is currently serving on the board of WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Rotary Action Group. 
 
Chris is passionate about the work of The Rotary Foundation and has participated in National Immunization Days (NID) for polio eradication in India and Nigeria. She is a recipient of the Rotary Foundation Citation for Meritorious Service and the Rotary Foundation Distinguished Service Award. Chris and her husband, Dennis Lindeman, are Major Donors and members of the Bequest Society. She and Dennis are avid sailors and reside in Petoskey, Michigan with their three cats, Coal and Bentley.
