Empire Multi-District President Elect Learning Seminar (MD PELS) is a program run by a joint committee with a mission to prepare incoming Club Presidents for leadership in Rotary Districts 7120 and CNY (shown here). The learning opportunities include virtual sessions and a weekend-long in-person training held centrally in Syracuse each March. In addition to supporting club leaders, MD PELS is a learning opportunity for area leaders (Assistant Governors and Area Reps). 

 

This learning program is run completely by volunteer members from Rotary Clubs in the two partner districts that make up our region. It is funded with dues paid by each club in the region, earning every club the ability to send their incoming leader to attend the in-person event. Organizational guidance is determined by a board that consists of current and incoming District Presidents/Governors, the chair and admin team members.
